Internal Sales Intern

Summary
For our newly established and rapidly growing Internal Sales department, we are seeking a candidate for an internship position.
The team was created with the goal of strengthening customer relationships through direct, ongoing, and high-quality communication.
After an initial training period on company processes and the Knauf product range, the intern will gradually be involved in managing a portfolio of clients via phone, with the goal of presenting Knauf systems, understanding client needs, and supporting them in using the company’s digital tools. The role also involves regular collaboration with regional sales managers to discuss priorities and sales strategies.
Responsibilities
- Learn Knauf Italy’s commercial and business processes, including sales policy, sales organization, commercial procedures, and the use of CRM tools.
- Develop active listening, communication, and sales skills through direct customer interaction, including outbound calls, follow-ups, and needs analysis.
- Gain solid knowledge of Knauf’s product portfolio, systems, system-selling approach, key product families, and their market positioning.
- Gradually take responsibility for a customer portfolio, in coordination with the local area sales manager and in line with company policies, under the guidance of a tutor.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with assigned customers.
- Present and promote Knauf systems according to customer needs.
- Contribute to the definition of sales plans based on market analysis, commercial insights, and regular alignment with regional sales managers on priorities, opportunities, and operational strategies.
- Support customers in using Knauf’s digital platform and related digital tools.
- Keep company systems updated and use CRM tools to monitor activities, sales opportunities, and commercial quotations.

Requirements
- University degrees preferably in Economics Science, Communications
- Excellent communication and listening skills in order to solve problems and catch opportunities
- Proactive attitude, curiosity and desire to constantly learn new things
- Ability to work and interact with a variety of people
- Attention to details and familiarity with digitals tools
- Analytical Approach
- Desire to grow professionally and learn
- Nice to have: knowledge of Sales Force and SAP

What we offer
Monthly salary of €700 gross, ticket Restaurant of €8/day, transport allowance.
